Kindness

Last night we talked about the fruit of the spirit as it relates to kindness. We need people kind enough to care instead of people too kind to speak up. We need people that love us, that love the Lord, and that love truth and righteousness as much as they love just getting along. We're not doing each other any favors when we become tolerant of sin, rebellion, and mixed loyalty. Our devotion is to the Lord and out of love for one another, we speak the truth in love to restore the redeemed. 

Psalms 141:5 Let a righteous man strike me —that is a kindness; let him rebuke me —that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.
